As the 09/10 season approaches we are now clearing out stock of the 08/09 kit. There are massive price slashes and most sizes on most models are all available. Check out the 08/09 range and grab a bargain.
This Saturday the 6th of June we will be demoing at the official opening of the Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre. We will be taking 09/10 demo skis from Icelantic. This is our first demo with the 09/10 season equipment in the UK. The Snow Centre should be an amazing venue as it is so new and the snow quality is said to be the best in the country. Can’t wait to see if that is true or not. It will be very strange going back to indoor snow after spending time in the mountains.
Other brands will also be providing demo kit making the evening quite an event! We will be there from 4pm till 9pm.
As many of you will know already Icelantic Skis are built in the Never Summer factory in Denver, Co. It is only a short distance from Icelantic HQ making it all very convenient. Never Summer have perfected sandwich construction over the last 15 years and help us produce such high quality products. This video sees Never Summer staff talk us through the production process as well as some other shennanigans. The video focuses more on the Never Summer side of things but Icelantic does get mentions and you can see bits of our graphic layers etc in there too.
For the upcoming 2009/10 season Maxtrack will be taking over from Junkiegear as the distributor for Icelantic. After being offered the opportunity, meeting with Ben and Annelise from Icelantic HQ and seeing the 09/10 graphics we could not say no. I am sure this is going to be a great partnership.
